If you are a customer in Northeast Columbia and can't make it downtown, please give the office a call and we can assist you. If we need to, we can come to you to help with any issues you may have. Just let us know.

My team and I can assist you with a number of State Farm insurance services in South Carolina, including Auto, Home, Life & Health, Flood, Renters, Condo, Small Business, Personal Articles, Motorcycle, Boat, and RV Insurance. We even offer Pet Insurance!

I’m originally from Columbia, SC, and graduated from the University of South Carolina, where I earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in insurance and economic security.

Before joining State Farm, I worked in the transportation and logistics industry, where it was my passion to ensure my customers received their shipments on time and in good order. I still bring that same passion and commitment to my customers at State Farm!

Since opening Barry Johnson State Farm Agency in August 2021, my team and I have taken pride in coaching and empowering people with their personal insurance decisions and making sure they are prepared for anything life throws at them.

When I’m not at our office, I enjoy attending USC sporting events, concerts, boating on Lake Murray, or traveling all around South Carolina from the mountains to the beaches.
